Meet Our Therapists

We’re a small, thoughtful team of licensed therapists providing virtual therapy across New York. Our clinicians share a grounded, compassionate approach to care and are trained in evidence-based practices that support meaningful, lasting change.

Carolyn Valenzuela, LCSW

Founder + Head Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Carolyn is the founder of Remote Therapy New York and a licensed therapist supporting professionals navigating burnout, career transitions, and leadership challenges. She works with clients who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck during times of change—because their inner world needs attention and understanding. Carolyn integrates IFS, mindfulness, CBT, and trauma-informed therapy to help clients slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with a steadier, more grounded sense of self. She helps professionals clarify priorities, navigate change with intention, and cultivate sustainable strategies for growth and well-being.

Aïcha Nadifi, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Aïcha draws from attachment theory, CBT/ACT, IFS-informed parts work, and somatic regulation to help clients experience change, not just understand it. She is known for her grounding, thoughtful presence, and helps clients find language for their feelings along with practical steps to move forward. Aïcha is culturally responsive and sensitive to faith, family roles, and identity, creating a space where clients are understood without needing to explain their background. She works collaboratively to slow things down, make sense of patterns, and build flexible habits that support the life clients want.
